Central Highlands Community Legal Centre provides free legal advice and information and community legal education for people who live, work or study in the Grampians Region. Their office is based in Ballarat and can assist with information about family law, family violence, fines, credit and debt. A Youth Lawyer is available to see people on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please call to make an appointment.

Activities
Local branch of the Royal Victorian Association of Honorary Justices (RVAHJ) meets regularly for networking, training, and support. We also operate two Document Signing Stations for the local community.

Women's Legal Services Victoria
Description
Women's Legal Service Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation that has been providing free legal services to women since 1982. We work with women experiencing disadvantage to address legal issues arising from relationship breakdown or violence.
Activities
Face to face and telephone legal advice on family law matters and intervention orders for women. This is a free service.
This service is staffed by female lawyers, who specialise in legal issues arising from violence against women. Our lawyers can advise individual women on how the current law might affect them.
Operating Hours
Monday and Friday 9am to 5pm.
